The second annual AgriFest agricultural festival recently took place in Goris, serving as a premier hub for Syunik’s farmers, producers, and innovators. The event showcased high-quality local products while highlighting the region's vast potential for innovative agricultural development.
Organized by Impact Hub Syunik and supported by ACBA Federation, the festival actively promotes the advancement of small and medium enterprises within Armenia’s rural communities.
"AgriFest was made possible this year through our strategic partnership with the EU Delegation to Armenia and ACBA Federation," noted Gevorg Poghosyan, Executive Director of Impact Hub Yerevan. "Our goal this year was to move beyond traditional farming to highlight the powerful intersection of agriculture and creativity."
Vassilis Maragos, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, added: "It is an honor to stand by Armenia’s farmers, youth, and creators. The European Union remains committed to investing in the expertise and potential of these communities to drive regional progress."
The ACBA Federation is the major shareholder of ACBA Bank, holding over 75% of its shares. Through this strategic position, the Federation actively contributes to the development of agriculture, the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in rural areas, the development of communities, the revitalization of local economies, and the improvement of livelihoods for individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities across Armenia’s rural communities.
