Nestled between the Dzoraget and Gargar canyons, Chuchuland Guest House transports visitors to a world of wonder. Surrounded by Lori’s unmatched nature - green forests, rugged cliffs, and deep gorges - the house offers a breathtaking escape.
Founded by Hamlet Matevosyan, Chuchuland is a family endeavor that welcomes guests from around the globe to experience Armenian culture, cuisine, and nature. Having spent years in the tourism sector, Hamlet’s dream was to showcase the beauty and history of Armenia with the excellence it deserves.
Chuchuland is more than just a place to stay; it is a vital community hub. Local children and youth gather here for classes in heritage, art, song, and dance. For Hamlet’s family, every guest visit is a chance to invest in the education and development of the village.
As a beneficiary of the ACBA Federation and Impact Hub Fellowship, Hamlet has spent a year applying new marketing and financial insights to scale his business.
"I haven't done any of this alone, nor could I have. Chuchuland is about people, friends, and the community of Armenians who truly wanted to build something better. Our partnership with ACBA Federation was centered on sharing knowledge and experience. Through their programs, I gained the marketing and financial tools essential for a new business. I view this as a true partnership, where we move forward hand-in-hand," says Hamlet Matevosyan, founder of Chuchuland Guest House.
Chuchuland Guest House is located in Kurtan village, Lori region (Tel: +374-94-51-50-81).
The ACBA Federation is the major shareholder of ACBA Bank, holding over 75% of its shares. Through this strategic position, the Federation actively contributes to the development of agriculture, the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in rural areas, the development of communities, the revitalization of local economies, and the improvement of livelihoods for individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities across Armenia’s rural communities.
